Mrs. Paul

Lebhart Elementary

“My classroom is a very colorful classroom with many areas of comfort. I try to make my classroom very homey for my students, as many of them, this is there safe zone. I work in a low-income school and some of my students look at school as their safe place. With this in mind, I make the classroom a fun environment for them. I spend a lot of my family budget on trying to get the items and books for my classroom. My district is also going through some major academic changes, which will change my classroom as well. Any help is welcome to make my classroom perfect for my students.
Thank you!”

I meet with my children on the floor multiple times a day for instruction and read alouds. A carpet helps guide the children in where they sit and it also helps manage the behaviors. Carpets also provide students with another resource for information (in this case, ocean animals and the alphabet). Learn more »

These bean bag chairs will be used in my classroom during our readers workshop for students to make themselves comfortable while reading for meaning. These chairs help set the reading atmosphere that I am working towards. Using bean bag chairs will help students get comfortable for reading and foster the love of reading and that reading has a purpose. Learn more »
