Mrs. Griffin

Grimsrud Elementary School

“My name is Kelly Griffin and I am in my 3rd year of teaching Kindergarten at Grimsrud. We are a smaller elementary school in the area with about 300 students. This year, I have 22 students in my classroom. We are a big class!

Kindergarten is a big year for growth. We start out learning our letters and numbers and by the end of the year, we are reading and adding! There are many educational tools that I could use to be a more effective teacher for my little students.

Teaching is a very rewarding job. There is nothing better than to educate and influence the young minds of our future.”

I would use this rug in my large carpet area where we meet as a class. There is a spot for each student to have their own space which I feel is very important for their learning. I like that this rug is simple so it will not distract the students from their learning. This rug would really aid in my whole group instruction by organizing the kids and helping me manage. This rug would be a perfect addition to my classroom. Learn more »
