Ms. Murphy

Elma High School

“I've been teaching high school for 16 years and still love stepping into my classroom every single day! I currently teach civics, economics, and world history. My students are eager to learn and want to be pushed academically to prepare themselves for colleges, tech schools, military service, and careers after high school. Learning how to critically read & analyze, and apply knowledge to different situations are valuable skills in all avenues of life. By purchasing these teacher supplies, I will help students learn these important skills, increase their confidence, and prepare them for their futures. ”

Classroom Supplies

Tissues, antibacterial wipes, and hand sanitizer -- classroom supplies are the fuel for a healthy learning environment in every classroom. Please help me get these essentials.

Drawing Supplies

Students use art skills to express their ideas visually in every discipline, including social studies. Our students need paper, poster board, colored pencils and markers that allow students to create art which reflects the unique and diverse racial backgrounds of a historical era or within their current lives.

Critical Thinking

Document Based Questions help me teach students to critically read, analyze sources, and present arguments using content based documents to support their positions. By purchasing DBQ Teacher Resource Binders for my civics, economics, and world history classes, I can help students practice these critical thinking skills by incorporating the DBQs into my existing units of study.
