“I am a third grade educator at a PreK-12, high poverty, rural public school in south central Illinois. I currently have 24 incredible students. We enjoy learning about science and math. We also love reading our favorite books on the floor with our shoes off! ”

Let's get all of the parents, alumni and friends to show their support of our classroom.
Make A Favorite » Invite Supporters »Your contribution will help Mrs. Frederick get essential resources for students, including those below:
Paper, scissors, tape, rulers, erasers, pencils -- classroom supplies are the fuel for learning in every classroom. Please help us get these essentials.
Products needed to teach geology, geography, oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy. Examples include: rock specimens, models, telescopes, maps, activity kits, globes, compass, weather station, psychrometer, and posters.
The products and supplies needed to teach K-6 students science. Products include: microscopes, prepared slides, butterflies, plant and animal models, K’Nex, and manipulatives to teach math concepts
All of the equipment and supplies to teach STEM and prepare students for STEM related careers. Examples include: data loggers, anatomical models, microscopes, calculators, K’Nex, robotics, biotech kits, etc.
Art programs are essential for students to develop their creativity, and they depend on art supplies. Your contribution will help so much!
Most artists started with drawing, and people use the skills to express their ideas visually in every discipline, from architecture to science. Our students need paper, markers, pencils and pens.
Brushes, Easles, and Paint- oh my! Our classroom can't afford these without your help.
Our young students need to be active to develop their bodies, as well as their minds. Help our students discover the joy of living healthy lives.
Imagine what it would be like to sit all day in a bad chair. (Is that what they call a bad chair day?). This will make such a difference for the students.
Students spend almost all day sitting and working at their desks. We need more desks for our students.
We need shelves in my classroom to keep things presentable, organized, and off the floor. Your support will make a huge difference for my students.
21st technology for a 21st century education
It's the 21st century, and we need computers. Notebooks are a great choice fo us because students can use them at their desks, and we can move them from one classroom to another.
Everyone is publishing great educational apps for tablets, and the kids love them. We would love to get tablets for our classroom!
Our old computer monitors are due for replacement. Can you please help us get new monitors so the kids can work on the computers? Thanks!
We need software for our school computers. Without that, they are just big paperweights. Please contribute to give our students the tools they need to work.
We need accessories for the computers. Mouse, cables, thumb drives, and all those little -- but essential -- things.
Some of our computers do not move from place to place, so we get desktop computers, which are less expensive. These machines will last for years, so they are a great investment in our children's education.
