Here is what we need

Your contribution will help Mrs. B get essential resources for students, including those below:

Classroom Supplies

We are in need of markers, crayons, scissors, copy paper, construction paper, notebooks, 3-ring binders, pencils, and pens. I also need plastic bins - the 3 drawer bins, 6 of them for each small group that we have.

Many of our students do not have access to books outside of the classroom. By getting donations, I give them the chance to have a library to utilize at any time. We are a 5th grade class with some beginning readers and some very developed readers.

Children's Books

Books for my young students! These books help teach life lessons about sharing and kindness for those developing minds. They love to read to gain ideas for their own writing. The richer the text, the better writers they become. Besides, I love to read to them and love the pictures :).

Supplementary Books

Magic schoolbus books, and any nonfiction science books would be great such as about the ocean, the earth, the body, etc. These are rich in text and great photos to illustrate the meaning.

Classroom Decorations

Students are so much more excited and engaged when they are in a rich, stimulating environment. Your contribution will create the sort of place they want to spend their time. We will need some posters that illustrate our thinking. Chart paper would be amazing to help with this.

Biology Equipment and Supplies

magnets, magnifying glasses, experiment boxes for the class, nonliving organism studies, earth science, physical science

General Art Supplies

Art programs are essential for students to develop their creativity, and they depend on art supplies. Your contribution will help so much! Crayons, markers, clay, paint, paint brushes, paper, glitter, glue, etc.

Drawing Supplies

Most artists started with drawing, and people use the skills to express their ideas visually in every discipline, from architecture to science. Our students need paper, markers, pencils and pens.

Physical Education Equipment

Our young students need to be active to develop their bodies, as well as their minds. Help our students discover the joy of living healthy lives. Currently we have nothing for recess to play with to build that physical activity. A basketball, football, some jump ropes would all be very appreciative.

We are an ESL classroom and the more rich, real world items we can get in our room the better.

Teacher Resources

Whiteboard markers are always a hot commodity as well as chalk in my room. Yes, I have a chalkboard.

Classroom Carts

These carts help us organize resources and move them from room to room. The plastic drawers, 3 draw ones, we need 6. Also stackable trays, as many as one can spare.
