Class supplies

Luther Nick Jeralds Middle

“Hi, my name is Mrs. Clark. I am the Science Olympiad coach for Luther Nick Jerald's Middle School in Fayetteville North Carolina. Our club is trying to raise money to buy new supplies for our future competitions. Our goal is to buy magnifying glasses, lab coats, a circuit kit, research books and a forensic science kit. The new supplies would help the students better prepare for their competitions and are needed for students to compete in the events. ”

Our club would like to purchase two field guide books that aid students in identify objects found in nature. Students that compete in the Entomology (the study of bugs) and Rocks and Mineral events would greatly benefit from having a field guide book. The books are a key tool for the student's event and aids in identifying insects or rocks based on their characteristics.

Safety Equipment and Supplies

Our club would like to purchase 10 lab coats for students to use during competition. Students are required to bring their own safety equipment for each of the competitions. The students will enjoy looking like a scientist while they showcase their science knowledge at the competition.
