“How lucky am I to be in a profession I truly love! I am a 3rd grade teacher at Frederick Douglass Elementary School in Winchester, VA. This year I will be teaming with two other teachers-I will be teaching math. Our school district does not allow us to ask for school supplies, therefore, I end up spending a lot of my own money on supplies-which I know goes to a wonderful cause, but each year it gets harder and harder to find additional funds. Thank you so much for your support! It truly does take a village.....”
